But if you’re wondering why the name changed and where we’re going next, this post is for me to explain it, honestly, from the person who made the call.

What our users showed us

Over the last two years, I watched how people actually used Dtunes.

A freelancer in Lagos was holding her USDT for weeks, waiting for the right rate before selling in pieces to cover school fees. A software engineer in Abuja was paying his DSTV subscription directly from his crypto balance instead of transferring to naira first. A small business owner in Ibadan was collecting USDC from a Turkish client in the morning, swapping it by noon, and paying three suppliers by evening.

These weren’t people cashing out. They were managing money. Deciding when to hold. Deciding when to move. Deciding what to pay with.
